Äldrekontakt  is an organisation whose purpose is to help the elderly out of involuntary loneliness.

In June 2025, Björn and Christina hosted a gathering of local elderly people to their house.

They did the same again for a Christmas Fika (Fika is a cherished Swedish cultural tradition, acting as both a noun and verb for taking a, coffee-and-cake break to socialize, pause, and recharge, usually around 11am every day and sometimes twice a day).

On the menu was Christmas cake, saffron bread, lovely conversations, dog cuddles and even a little carol sing-along moment.  Their guests also got to say hello to Hansi, Björn's Australian Labradoodle.
