Tomas' connection to ABBA is many and varied:

  1. He was part of the backing choir on the 1979 North American and Europe tour and the 1980 Japanese tour.
  2. He was part of the backing choir on Dick Cavett Meets ABBA in 1981.
  3. He was one of the artists performing on Lite Grand i örat which was co-hosted by Frida in 1981.
  4. He wrote I Got Something which Frida recorded for her album Something's Going On in 1982.
  5. He duetted with Agnetha on Never Again in 1982
  6. He composed Take Good Care of Your Children recorded by Agnetha on her album Wrap Your Arms Around Me in 1983.
  7. He married Stig Anderson's daughter Marie in 1983.
  8. He was part of the line-up for Musik på Borggården organised by Frida in 1992.

Tomas performed Never Again with Swedish singer Lena Philipsson.

Björn appeared in a specially-filmed video wearing country gear and singing an English version of Hej Gamle Man (Hey Old Man) called Hey grand ol' man with witty lyrics.  The video was shown on screens in the Arena and you could see Tomas' reaction to it - he obviously found it very funny!
