Björn was appointed "Philosophy Doctor Honorary Causa", ie Honorary Doctor, by the Economics School at Linnaeus University in 2015.

Here, Björn was interviewed by Linnaeus University's Göran Nikolausson (Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Department of Music and Art).  It looks like it was filmed in Summer, but was not published until 10 December 2018.

Björn described what his collaborations with Benny Andersson for ABBA looked like, in particular how certain songs and song ideas unfolded over time. He hinted at the different stylistic and generic influences that were significant, talked about the role of technology in their creative work and provided his opinion on the future challenges that songwriters will face in a fully digitalized world.

The interview was included in the book Pop Music Made In Småland.
