On 6 June 2023, Björn made an announcement on social media that Mamma Mia! The Party would be going to Rotterdam in the Netherlands ‘next year’ (ie. 2024).  The show opened on 19 September 2024 at the Schiecentrale Events venue.

"Mamma Mia! The Party is an immersive dinner experience that you've never had before. You'll be treated to wonderful Mediterranean food while you're entertained by a little story told by the host of the taverna - Nikos and his friends.  

Nikos and his friends are singing all the ABBA hits and entertaining you while you sing along.

I'm so happy to announce that Mamma Mia! The Party is coming to the Netherlands for the first time to Rotterdam next year.

Unfortunately the show closed unexpectedly and with immediate effect on 28 August 2025, due to issues between the Swedish production company, Pophouse Entertainment, and the local producer.
