Benny's dream came true when his three-year old horse Ayani won the Swedish Derby ridden by young jockey Oliver Wilson.

Benny's journey in the sport of galloping began about 40 years ago when he became a horse owner with Jessica's mother, the gallop trainer Caroline Strömberg. Since then, the gallop effort has gone straight up with several victories and top horses over the years. But the Swedish Derby is something special.

"It's fantastic fun to win the Swedish Derby, it beats most things. I've done it in Copenhagen a couple of times, that's also fun, but this is even more fun," says Benny.

Ayani was born in Sweden and bred by Benny who bought Ayani's grandmother's mother in 1996 and then chose to invest in the strain.
