Mamma Mia! The Party celebrated its first anniversary in Gothenburg at the Rondo on 8 October 2022 and was attended by Björn who addressed the audience.

The show premièred in Gothenburg on 8 October 2021. The show concluded its run at the Rondo in Gothenburg in 2023. 

In October 2019, it was announced that Mamma Mia! The Party would move to the Rondo in Gothenburg in August 2020. However, the opening was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
