A new production of Chess premièred in London nearly 32 years after it first appeared on Tuesday 1 May 2018 and was attended by Benny and Björn who made an appearance on stage and took a bow with lyricist Tim Rice and the cast of the show which included Michael Ball (Anatoly, The Russian), Alexandra Burke (Svetland, The Russian's Wife, Tim Howar (Freddie, The American) and Cassidy Janson (Florence, The American's 'second').

Benny went round all the main cast and gave each of them a hug before joining Björn at the front.
