In early July 2016 a picture emerged of Frida in a recording studio with Cuban-American jazz trumpeter, pianist and composer. Arturo Sandoval and producer Gregg Field but with fairly limited information.

It soon became clear that Frida had recorded Andante, Andante for an upcoming Duets album with Arturo Sandoval but it wasn't until April 2018 that the track was actually heard and news of the finished album were made available.

A trailer for the album was released on YouTube showing Frida recording her track and with her messing about in the studio.
