Paul O'Grady's 100 Years of Movie Musicals explored the history of the genre, from its roots in the early 20th century, through to its golden era, and up to the mult-million dollar industry it has become.

Benny filmed some comments about the Gene Kelly film Singin' in the Rain and Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers' film Top Hat.  He popped up again later in the programme with comments about Mamma Mia! The Movie.  Benny mimics the Singin' in the Rain character Lina Lamont - you really need to see it!

Host Paul O'Grady clearly - from his comments throughout - can't stand Mamma Mia! The Movie.
