Malou Efter Tio = Malou After Ten

Malou von Sivers hosted a late night community programme on TV4 covering current and topical themes with interviews with artists, authors and politicians.

Björn appeared on the show discussing his wish to see a change in legislation so that severely ill people get the right to die in their own homes in Sweden. 

Also on the programme was the author Inga-Lisa Sangregorio who had been affected by cancer and then wrote the book Den sista friheten - rätten till vår död (The Last Freedom - The Right To Our Death), about assisted-dying.

Björm talked about the final years of both his parents and parents-in-law, some of whom suffered long, drawn-out illnesses before they finally died. That made him decided that he didn't want that kind of end for himslef but would prefer a more dignified end to his life.  He has written his own obituary in an anthology, along with other “pro-choice” people, published as part of this debate. The book is called Innan jag glömmer bort mig själv (Before I Forget Myself).

They then discussed various aspects of the issue - the arguments for and against. Both Björn and Inga-Lisa Sangregorio were pro-choice in the discussion.
