The Swedish Music Hall of Fame - situated right next to ABBA The Museum and subsequently the space used for various exhibitions since including Good Evening Europe - opened on 20 March 2014.

ABBA were accepted into the Swedish Music Hall of Fame and to qualify, 20 years should have passed since their debut album in order to 'guarantee an enduring historical value'.

ABBA were one of twelve acts accepted:

2. Jan Johansson
3. The Latin Kings
4. Nationalteatern
5. Cornelis Vreeswijk
6. Stina Nordenstam
7. Ebba Grön
8. Eva Dahlgren
9. Entombed
10. Monica Zetterlund
11. Roxette
12. ABBA
