Additional information

The day before the ABBA The Museum - Première, Frida had a look around the Museum with her partner Henry Smith and stayed around 25 minutes afterwards to sign autographs and chat to fans.  She was apparently very calm and in one of the cips in the VIDEO section she was asked what she thought of Agnetha's new album.  You can also see her signing two copies of The ABBA Guide To Stockholm :-)

That same day, after dusk, rehearsals took place for ABBA The Museum - Première where the light show and music was tested out. Two videos are available of this - one with an instrumental of Summer Night City and the other with a remix of Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight).

Björn, wearing a dark grey suit and pink shirt, gave a speech in English.  The following night at the première itself, his speech was in Swedish.  His English-speaking part - in close-up and clearly wearing a pink shirt - was edited into the opening night footage released by ABBA The Museum on their YouTube channel after the event.  But as you'll see from other private videos, on the night, he did speak in Swedish, and wore a white shirt.

Björn's English speech: "Where does music come from?  The famous film director Ingmar Bergman once asked that question in a radio show.  Well ... no-one has been able to give an answer of course.  But one thing we can know - it goes straight to the heart. Your intellect might try to intefere but music is unstoppable. Stockholm now has a fanastic new building, a house totally dedicated to music has opened.  It's a great moment and I can't think of any better words for this moment than Thank You For the Music."

Thank you to the fans who took private footage and shared it.
