A Week In The West End was a series of five programmes broadcast on BBC Two on the afternoons of Monday 11 February to Friday 15 February 2002, presented by Claire Sweeney.
Each programme looked both on stage and behind-the-scenes in London's West End, with consumer advice, gossip, extracts from the shows and interviews with the stars.
Episode 2 of 5 featured Mamma Mia! and interviews with:
Louise Plowright used to play Julie the hairdresser in EastEnders and played the original Tanya in the London production of Mamma Mia! before taking on the main role of Donna. She died in 2016.
Lesley Nicol went on to play the role of Mrs Patmore the cook in Downton Abbey.
The interview footage of Björn was used in 2006 for the 5th Anniversary Featurette included on the 5th Anniversary of Mamma Mia! on Broadway CD/DVD edition.
