Part of a series of 10 programmes on loving the 1970's. Nostalgia-led, these shows concentrated on the popular culture aspects of each year: TV, pop music, film etc. Each one was presented by a different celebrity. Each edition of the series was preceded by a TV show from the year in question and was followed by a film (often two) also from the relevant year.

The shows themselves consisted of clips of the topics being talked about along with talking-heads-style interviews with celebrities (most whom would have been kids in the 70s).

Björn appeared in this programme and passed comments on various 1976 memories: The Muppets (specifically Miss Piggy and The Swedish Chef); the drought, Björn Borg and The Brotherhood of Man. Björn appeared to enjoy his contributions as most of the time is laughing his head off. (The ABBA clips shown were mainly from years OTHER than 1976 curiously enough!)

Commentators on ABBA included author Colin Irwin, comedian Peter Kay, comedienne Fiona Allen, ABBA fan Cliff Docherty, DJs Tony Blackburn and (the now disgraced) Sir Jimmy Savile and (also disgraced!) Jonathan King.

Other topics covered on this edition hosted by Kermit the Frog were TV show It Ain't Half Hot Mum, and films Assault on Precinct 13 and The Man Who Fell to Earth as well as Bjorn Borg, stunt kites, and disco (which is the section ABBA were covered in).
