Grattis, Lill-Babs! = Congratulations, Lill-Babs!

Barbro Margareta Svensson, known professionally as Lill-Babs is a Swedish singer and actress. One of her biggest hits, Är du kär i mej ännu Klas-Göran? was written by Stig Anderson who went on to write more hits for her in the 1960s.

On 9 March 1988, Lill-Babs 50th birthday was celebrated with a live TV programme.

Stig Anderson was there and performed onstage.  Agnetha was also there but did not perform on stage.

However, I have a vague memory that she was visible onstage standing behind a lot of the other guests on the programme in a line-up of the guests (trying not to be seen). Does this ring any bells to anyone?

Click here for a picture from that night - it proves she was there.
