This TV series of 24 Hours We'll Never Forget focussed on major shocking worldwide and local events in Denmark. The second episode of the second series was about the murder of Swedish Prime Minister, Olof Palme who was shot in central Stockholm was first broadcast on 31 January 2010.
"On the evening of Friday 28 February 1986, Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme goes to the cinema with his wife Lisbet. When the film is finished, they will stroll home to their apartment in Gamla Stan, but they won't make it that far. On the corner of Sveavägen and Tunnelgatan, Olof Palme is shot in the chest and dies shortly afterwards. The news spreads to Denmark in a short time, and shocks most people. For 24 Hours we never forget, Uffe Ellemann-Jensen, Mogens Lykketoft, Paul Gazan and Per Larsen tell about their experiences on the day. "
