Additional information

This would appear to be one of the rarest performances by Agnetha and doesn't appear to be on any of the videos available on the fan video/DVD circuit.

Agnetha performed One Way Love and I Won't Let You Go for the opening of a new Sheraton Hotel (now known as Thon Hotel Oslofjord), just outside Oslo.

A newspaper advert says, "Scandinavian Broadcasting System presents the opening of the Hotel Sheraton Oslofjord in a direct broadcast to millions of TV viewers in the USA . The programme will be shown at the same time through the local cable network in Bærum (outside Oslo ) on March 1st at midnight Norwegian time. Agnetha Fältskog will be in the show together with Wenche Myhre, Anette Bøe (famous Norwegian winter atlete) and Grete Waitz (famous marathon runner)".

The first picture above (in black and white) is from the TV broadcast. The second picture is of Agnetha with Wenche Myhre (a well-known artiste in Scandinavia and Germany and her husband Michael Pfleghar (Wenche's husband at the time was the producer of the show). The other pictures were just from the event and not from the broadcast, but you can see from those pictures that she was wearing a very distinctive luminous light green trouser suit.

Pictures from the opening ceremony.

If any lovely Norwegian fans have this on video, I'd be very grateful to receive some still captures from the broadcast.

Could there also have been a performance of Mozart's The Magic Flute on this programme? I have a very frustrated American ABBA fan who remembers Agnetha singing One Way Love on a TV performance which also featured the Mozart piece. I would love to tell them that I've identified the performance!

Many thanks to Ola Sivertsen, Gunnar Moe, Jozsef and Knut Torgeir Høyland.
Thanks to Daniel Ekeberg-Malmli, Hotel Manager at Thon Hotel Oslofjord.
