Viikonlopputelevisio = Weekend TV

Viikonlopputelevisio was a TV talk show, which premiered on 12 October 1984 broadcast on YLE1.

For this episode 14, the host was Mari Valkama.

This was a special event for Finnish fans as none of ABBA had ever visited Finland for any kind of promotion since really hitting the bigtime. Viikonlopputelevisio had two presenters - one, a professional journalist (Maria) and the other was a blonde woman who is still a celebrity in Finland today.  It was a live broadcast with one part from the railway station restaurant - where Frida performed - in Helsinki and they had also one or two live segments from other locations. Maria Valkama also did a LIVE interview with sculptress Laila Pullinen at her studio and then had to rush to the railway station to meet Frida and interview her.

It was a bit of an odd setting to have such a big star in the middle of the late evening rush hour at the railway station restaurant sitting on a bar chair and lip-synching her hit song. There was audience sitting at the tables in the dark and also people who were just waiting for their trains. There was basically no stage, just an open area, that might have been used as a small dance floor which is where Frida's performances and interview took place. It could be that she wasn't expecting such a situation because she did make a comment in a Finnish magazine at the time that she had felt a bit awkward during the rehearsals earlier that day in the afternoon. The rehearsal went on with the public going in an out of the restaurant, because it was all open throughout the day until late.

In the interview, Frida said, "ABBA had its time and now it's another time. It was wonderful to be one of the group and I do not regret anything. But I love to work on my own as well. Sure, it would be nice to get together again and maybe make one more record in the future."
