Coeur En Fête = Joyful Heart

Hosted by Frenchman Julien Lepers, Coeur en fête was first broadcast in 1982. This was a co-production between TSR and RTL.

Frida performed Here We'll Stay and I Know there's Something Going On  in a couple of wonderfully wacky Frida performances!

Running order:

1. Regine - Retiens la vie
2. Dave - Elle voulait refaire l'Amérique
3. Precious Wilson - Raising my family and The Night the Music Died
4. Jean-Luc Layaye - Elle voulait qu'on l'appelle Brando
5. The Platters - Only You
6. Yves Lecoq (comedian impersonating singer Regine) - Ils sont chauds
7. Rhoda Scott and Swiss Radio Orchestra (ORSR)
8. Sarclon (Swiss singer) - L'automate à monnaie
9. Frida - Here We'll Stay and I know there's Something Going On
10. Claude Leveillee - Elle s'appelle Frédérique and Les années folles
11. Regine - Super super Dupont

Julien Lepers was one of the few sympathetic French TV presenters (apparently lots were arrogant and cynical) and was very enthusiastic. He actually presents a grammar and culture quiz to promote the French language all over the world (Questions Pour un Champion) on FR3 and rebroadcast on TV5 (this is the French equvalent of Brain of Britain on the BBC). He used to present the Hit Parade during the 1970s on Radio Monte Carlo and an original concept during the eighties on RTL called Challenger where he would pit two songs against each other with the winner decided by listeners' votes.

Frida at her eccetric, wacky best - especially at the end of Here We'll Stay. It's why we love her so much!
