Super Special was a series broadcast on CBC from 26 September 1976 to 20 March 1983 and containing 76 episodes. It was created to feature many of Canada's international and up-and-coming stars, supported by well-known foreign talent.

Episode 64.

This episode was a musical celebration from Sweden, including dancers, singers, comedians and different performers and places who and which representated the contemporary Swedish culture and the capital.

Apparently the scenes of the program were filmed at different times during 1981, but the ABBA segment must have been much sooner as it was recorded around the late summer of 1980.

The show was hosted by Edward Paul Allen.

The guests on the show were:

4. Dan Maloney (Canadian singer) - Minute by Minute from The Tivoli Theatre

7. Northern Lights Revue with this lady from Viking Club
8. ABBA
9. After Dark (Swedish drags troupe) - Sweet Georgia Brown from Hamburger Börs

The ABBA segment started with some shots of Stockholm and ABBA Live in 1979 and were followed by a short interview with Agnetha, Frida and Stig. They were asked why they stayed in Stockholm and a clip of the After Dark drag impersonation of them was shown (Kisses of Fire and Thank You For The Music) with their reactions to it. It finished with the last half of the Thank You For The Music PROMO.
