One year after the start of colour TV transmissions in Australia all the TV networks were heavily pitching promos that involved the colour theme.

Channel 7 were no exception and their campaign was Colour Machine two years after their Colour Your World promos which featured a variety of local and overseas talent as well as the public, who were more than happy to flash the famous 5 and 2 fingers to the camera.

ABBA featured in a one whole promo which was made up of Channel 7's footage of the Sydney Press Conference and the Sound Unlimited interview.  It inlucdes them trying to flash the 5 and 2 fingers to the camera.

Agnetha and Frida only feature in a second Colour Machine promo together with Olivia Newton-John, Spike Milligan, Shaun Cassidy ("Hardy Boy" and half-brother of David) and Bryan Ferry.  The very brief footage of Agnetha and Frida was the same as that included in the ABBA Colour Machine promo.

A couple of Australian ATN Channel 7 Sydney Colour Machine promotional films were also made at the same time when Channel 7 taped their exclusive interview for Sound Unlimited. Later they stated they were from a 1976 campaign but the footage used of ABBA is from February 1977 at their Sydney press conference.
