Sveriges Magasin = Sweden's Magazine

Sveriges Magasin was topical news programme broadcast daily, Monday–Friday, between 18.30 and 19.30.

Wings were interviewed on Sveriges Magasin in March 1976, after one of their Copenhagen concerts that month, which they played on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 March 1976.

The interviewer was Per Falkman, of ABBA-dabba-dooo!! fame, and as part of the report he also got brief comments from Benny and Ted Gärdestad, who both attended the show(s).

Benny said that Paul McCartney was such a great performer because he could be a rocker one minute and then sit down and do an acoustic ballad like Blackbird. And then he said: “Without The Beatles there wouldn’t have been any ABBA.”
