A Current Affair (ACA) debuted on Channel Nine on 22 November 1971 and was screened week nights at 19:00 presented by Michael Schildberger that year.

ABBA were interviewed and a clip of the Fernando PROMO was shown. It was Fernando's debut in Australia.

Frida didn't speak in this interview - they stood up and were wearing the same clothes as the Press Conference (as shown in Sound Unlimited) but were in the studio. ABBA apparently asked to do the interview standing because they had been sitting at the Press Conference all day. Mike Minehan said that in his introduction.

In 2008 a Neil Diamond DVD included an interview from 9 March 1976 on A Current Affair on Australia's Channel 9. However, there does not appear to be any such clip fo ABBA in the archives. Just a brief snippet.
