Benny Andersson and Felle Fernholm left for the US circa mid-January 1967. A while later Svenne Hedlund joined them. It's not known exactly how long they were there or when they returned to Sweden.

While they were there, they were interviewed on a local California TV show. According to a recent book about Felle Fernholm, it was broadcast on Channel 13 and the hostess was one Florence Thalheimer. Could this possibly be her?

This is what Carl Magnus Palm wrote about the experience in Benny’s Road To ABBA: ”The programme dealt with spring fashion for ladies hats,” Felle laughs. ”The hostess was an old lady; she must have been around 80 and her audience was probably the same age. It was only an interview, because the union wouldn’t allow us to play and sing – not even playback.” Benny adds: ”Everybody knows the effect of appearing in a small, local television show: the impact is about 0.007 per cent."
