The Hep Stars left for West Germany either late in the evening on Sunday 4 December or maybe sometime on Monday 5 December 1966.

They spent four days in West Germany for the purpose of doing TV. “But the taping of Sunny Girl only took an hour. The rest of the time The Hep Stars did nothing else than sleep, eat sausages, etc.”  It is unclear if this means that they only appeared on one TV show, and if they only performed Sunny Girl on that one show.

According to Swedish press reports, The Hep Stars appeared on West German TV on Monday 26 December 1966. Presumably, this was the broadcast of Sunny Girl and whatever else they may have done earlier in December.
