Benny, Björn, Agnetha & Anni-Frid performed "Santa Rosa" in the 3rd World Popular Song Festival with the theme "Clap Your Hands".
They apparently didn't make it to the finals of the competition. They performed in the preliminary round only on 17th November 1972 and did not make it to the final. So it IS possible that they were NOT filmed for TV after all. But who knows? The new picture below looks like it was taken from a TV broadcast so fingers crossed the clip does exist after all.
They did get a commemorative medal from the event however.
Their performance kicked off between 18.30 and 21:30. A second preliminary round took place on Saturday 18th November with the final on Sunday 19th November 1972 which was broadcast on NHK on 2nd December 1972 from 16:00-17:30. Also, the competition was broadcast on radio (FEN) over the three days and on the radio (LF) on 19th November for the final.

According to NHK (TV company) rules, footage up until 1981 was re-used apart from for special programmes at the time, so they have no footage of this anymore. (Clearly they didn't think ABBA was special enough).
