Rockbjörnsgalan (Rockbjörns Gala)

Agnetha and Frida collected a Lifetime Achievement Award for ABBA at the annual Rockbjörn Gala.Benny and Björn were apparently "looking after the children" (... but Benny's youngest is 28 and Björn's youngest is 22!)

The Rockbjörns are voted for by readers of Swedish daily newspaper, Aftonbladet and this award was to celebrate the Rockbjörn's 30th anniversary..

Both ladies looked relaxed and happy - and of course, absolutely fantastic!

They talked about what the evening meant to them, how a new generation is listening to ABBA thanks to Mamma Mia! and how for Agnetha, she is now a grandmother and has taken a step back from music, although she still might write lyrics occasionally, only to do nothing with them.  They both agreed that promotion was something they would not want to do in the event of a new recording.  Frida joked she had asked Agnetha to record with her.  Let's hope there is a grain of truth in that joke somewhere!  Frida also took the opportunity to refute all and any claims of a feud between here and Agnetha.
