Notes
To celebrate Dutch theatre impresario Joop van den Ende's 65th birthday,
there was a huge TV programme which many celebrities wishing him a happy
birthday.
Benny was amongst them with a pre-recorded message, along with others like
Phil Collins and
Liza Minelli.
Joop is a big name in the theatre world in
Netherlands and across Europe and is responsible for the staging of "Mamma
Mia!" in more than just Netherlands. After Benny's message, the Dutch Donna
(Simone Kleinsma) came on stage and sang Mamma Mia with a new lyric and then
was suddenly backed up with
six other Donnas from various other productions of "Mamma Mia!"
(Essen,
Madrid,
Stuttgart,
Hamburg,
Moscow and
Antwerp). Then they all sang
"Waterloo" together.
