| Notes |
This was a feature of a regular travel programme and the presenter showed
parts of Stockholm whilst trying to get an interview with ABBA (à
la "ABBA - The Movie"). He finally interviewed Benny at his hotel - The Hotel Rival where he Benny told him that he had travelled so much and that 1% of the hotels he stayed in were nice, 1% were awful and the rest he couldn't remember, so that's why he decided to start a nice hotel. He said that ABBA was a long time ago and that whilst they made some good music, time has moved on. The reporter asked Benny if he played the piano that was in the room where they were conducting the interview. Benny said he did and then asked what he should play..."something Swedish?" but plumped for 'Thank You For The Music'. Some ABBA fans (including Linda Granqvist, Jeffrey de Hart and Peter Palmquist) were joined at a picnic in Stockholm as part of the feature. |
