Notes

"The Best 10" was the most popular music programme in Japan at this time. It was a weekly show that counted down the top 10 hits of the week and it ran until July 1989.

ABBA performed (mimed) "Dancing Queen" in the guest spot on this programme known as "Spotlight" which featured new singers or groups. They were interviewed briefly by hosts Tetsuko Kurovanagi and Hirosi Kume and and are asked which of them are couples; which is the 'A' and 'B' (Benny says they haven't decided); whether they like Japanese food (Agnetha likes everything but raw fish whereas Björn likes it and Frida likes tempura). They are also asked whether it was true that in England they sold 250,000 copies in one day of their latest single and how they felt about it ("not bad!" says Björn).  Apparently the female interviewer (in red) talks incredibly fast even for the Japanese!

It appears to be on the same stage set as the performances of "Take A Chance On Me", "SOS", Money, Money, Money and "Thank You For The Music" from the ABBA Special.

They also used the same 4-colour ABBA logo in the background as used in "Eagle" in the ABBA Special (blue, green, yellow, red).  However for this performance of "Dancing Queen" (blue, yellow, green, red) they got the two B's in the wrong order so the logo does not quite look correct.
