Notes Young Nation, was part of the youth segment of the Friday edition of BBC's Current Affair programme, Nationwide. However the complete report and interview no long exists in the BBC archives.

ABBA were interviewed in what is quite a stiff interview during their "Arrival" promotional tour.  The footage previously included in "Arrival" Promotion in London comes from this programme.  A short interview in the car is light-hearted and jolly but the studio interview is stiff and awkward but with some fascinating answers.  For example, they are asked where they will be in 30 years time (ie. now!).  Benny and Björn demonstrate how they write a song together on the piano and guitar.

This interview was a very welcome surprise included in the  "Arrival" Deluxe Edition released in October 2006.  The video copy found in the Polar music international archives

The interviewer (Maggie Norden*) talks to ABBA, especially the girls, as if they're stupid - slightly annoying.

Does anyone remember the name of the male presenter - the guy with the Manchester accent?)
* daughter of the UK's "It'll Be Alright on the Night" presenter, Denis Norden
