| Notes | The Hep Stars featuring Benny - with Svenne & Lotta on this show
where they covered some songs and performed a medley of their own. Benny was briefly interviewed but came across as fairly miserable. In the TV listings, this was referred to as the last TV appearance by The Hep Stars and some of the songs listed as being performed were, "Farmer John", "Cadillac", Lilla Sofie", "Malaika" and "Sunny Girl". In fact, as the Medley clip below shows, the Hep Stars songs were only in a Medley of "Cadillac", "Farmer John", "Bald-Headed Woman", "No Response", "Sunny Girl", "Wedding", "Malaika" and "Let It Be Me". Amongst the songs covered were "Speedy Gonzales" and "Reach Out (I'll Be There)" with a hint of Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Proud Mary" and The Beatles' "Get Back" and "Martha My Dear". The show was hosted by
Urban von Rosen, and produced by Peter Goldman.
One of the credits shows involvement by

| Duration | 25 mins (Full programme running time: 24:53) |
| Watch Out For | Benny's wonderful smile during the Medley ("Sunny Girl" part) |
| Translation | Urban von Rosen: Today artists have a much higher demand on
them being focused on the society and being radical, how do you approach
that demand? Benny Andersson: Well, I don't think it's as bad as the daily and evening newspapers like to put it. They could of course speak up more, I suppose. But I think it's wrong that a single artist or a sportsman or whatever, is forced to make a decision, that he really shouldn't have to, that you'll have to think before whatever it will effect you in one way or an other, only because he happens to be who he is, that has to be wrong, I think. UvR: But just the radical part? BA: If there are those who want to be that, well let them be that. UvR: Well, it started with a Cadillac and now it's a concept, Hep Stars. You can worship Hep Stars, you can listen to Hep Stars, you can like Hep Stars a lot, you can dislike Hep stars. But it's probably quite difficult becoming as famous as the Hep Stars. |
